Where you focus your attention determines what you see. It is that simple and it is also so very complex. I will share with you that I grew up seeing the world as a very hostile place, occupied by people who were out for only themselves, and so that's the type of person I became.

It has been only a few days since the earthquake in Japan and the subsequent tsunami with an estimated one hundred aftershocks, hundreds dead, and devastation abounds.

Most folks who are struggling with chemical dependency or addiction issues understand that there is power in numbers and that groups provide much needed support.

It is with great pleasure and appreciation for the group members about to attend this group therapy that I offer some information regarding the group process.
